Its been awhile...
Too long in fact. Plenty of JFC's go by and no net is cast to reel in their story. What will our children think in days to come? How will we handle the future of this nation with the
chronicles to reflect upon? This is sad indeed but not all is lost.
We can save the future. Just you and me. A little bit of effort and....
Time: A little around 7pm to 8pm (ish)
Shopping and sightings, almost a common theme in these troubling times.
In your constant trolling through wares and goods at the store. An endless quest to feed a growing gut with twinkies and ho-ho's. Your salivary gland works into over time as you circle around the ready-to-eat hamburgers just sitting there, helpless, in the freezer been.
Your eyes are intensely focused on your prey. You notice the black colored wrapper, you take note of the wind as not to give away your scent. You scan its environment for escape routes, HA! none! You make one final look for a possible vulture...no you're alone. Its time and it knows you are there but it acts calm. Its a dance that is past down from the generations. It knows what you want...it flinches and you move in for the kill without your body betraying your strike. Cold, emotionless, and efficient...you have it in your cart. The 6 pack of pre-cook jalapeƱo hamburger patties are yours!
You let out a triumphant roar and work your way to your grazing grounds but first the check out line. The line snakes past the shelves of suggested goodies and periodicals but you, coming from a fresh kill, still have adrenaline in your blood. A cold executed killer like yourself can wait.
HA! your middle name is waiting.
And here comes your reward as the empty space on the conveyor belt beckons your trophy.
*BEEP* The beer is passed before the scanner
*BEEP* The mustard
"OH
NO! The buns!" You gasp! "I'll be right back" as you dash from the presence of the 17 year clerk who at these very words beings to get red in the face... a little tear builds up in his eye,
You dash from the line of people throwing their heads back. Children being to cry and wifes begin to weep. For it is now we have seen it.
The self-pretentious
The self-important
The self-righteous
The Jesus Fish has struck again
